THE STARTING POINT
An industrial heritage.
Continuity to build.
Founded in Brescia in 1935, ICEL designs and manufactures low- and medium-voltage switchgear. When we joined in 2022, its market was mainly local, with strong ties to steelmaking and steel mills.
The organisation relied on a small leadership team: an administrator handling invoicing and finance, a sales leader also overseeing production, and a technical director. Valuable experience, concentrated in a few people.
Generational succession called for a structure that could share responsibilities and support the business’s development. This was our starting point.

An extensive talent search supported the gradual introduction of new roles. The organisation grew alongside the business, with clearer management and operational responsibilities.

The LPB secondary distribution range was developed with a fused Solar configuration for photovoltaic applications.

Primary medium-voltage switchgear was introduced, adding a category previously absent from ICEL’s product portfolio.

A more complete offering covering additional needs in electrical distribution.

A new SF6-free secondary medium-voltage product replaced the previous solution.

An integrated management system
ISO 14001 for the environment and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety were added alongside ISO 9001. This organisational development broadened opportunities to participate in new tenders.
Our Restructuring expertiseAI in office activities
AI Adoption involved the team and brought AI tools into sales, project management and engineering. Training and automation supported the evolution of daily activities.

Value of production grew from €4,368,887 in 2021 to €10,252,047 in 2025. Behind that change are a larger team, a management structure and an industrial plan that continues to develop.
